Composition is about 55-60% of Ni, 18-21% of Cr, 14-17% Co, 1.8-2.5% Ti and 1 to 1.8% of Al. Contains traces of iron, manganese and silicon. Such an alloy can be made into wrought form of Nimonic 90 bar and rod-High temperature strength as well as an oxidation resistance properties-Extremely serviceable under aggressive environments Tensile Strength in the order of 1150 MPa 830 to 930 MPa yield strength under 8 – 15% elongation. Nimonic 90 can resist temperatures up to 950°C, which is ideal for use in turbine blades, jet engines, and other high-performance aerospace and power generation components.
