Sabra Metals, based in Amman, Jordan, is a premier manufacturer and supplier of high-purity tungsten bars and rods. Renowned for precision and quality, the company provides materials that meet demanding industrial standards. Tungsten’s exceptional density, high melting point, and outstanding wear resistance make it ideal for specialized applications. Sabra Metals combines advanced production techniques with rigorous quality control to deliver products that serve the electronics, aerospace, defense, medical, and manufacturing sectors. With a strong focus on reliability and customer satisfaction, Sabra Metals has become a trusted supplier of tungsten solutions both regionally and globally.
Tungsten bars and rods are primarily composed of over 99.95% pure tungsten (W), often with trace amounts of nickel, iron, or cobalt as binding elements in sintered products. They exhibit an extremely high melting point (3422°C), remarkable density (19.3 g/cm³), and exceptional hardness, with tensile strength ranging from 550–1000 MPa depending on processing and alloying. Tungsten demonstrates excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, low thermal expansion, and outstanding wear and creep resistance. These mechanical properties make tungsten bars and rods suitable for applications requiring extreme durability, stability at high temperatures, and resistance to deformation under stress.

Tungsten rods are not highly susceptible to galvanic corrosion because they are highly resistant to corrosion in most environments. However, if paired with more reactive metals, galvanic corrosion may occur.
Yes, Tungsten bars can be welded using specific techniques such as TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding. However, proper preparation and high heat are required due to Tungsten's high melting point.
Maintain tungsten rods by storing them in a dry, clean area to prevent oxidation. Avoid bending or exposing them to extreme heat. Regularly inspect for damage and handle with care.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
