Suitable for aerospace, gas turbines, and other high-demand applications, these bars and rods are made of exceptional strength and durability. Sabra Metals strives to deliver dependable, precision-engineered products that meet the highest standards in industry.
Nimonic C263 bars and rods are made of a high-temperature nickel-chromium alloy which provides excellent oxidation, corrosion, and creep resistance at high temperature. The nominal composition of this alloy is as follows: nickel 50% and 20-23% chromium, 10-14% cobalt, 1-3% molybdenum and trace amounts of titanium, aluminum, and iron. It provides mechanical properties, such as a tensile strength of 1,250 MPa, yield strength of 850 MPa, and 20% elongation at room temperature. Excellent to maintain strength with thermal fatigue, Nimonic C263 is ideal for demanding applications involving gas turbines and aerospace as well as industries undergoing extreme temperatures.

Yes, Nimonic C263 bar can be welded. It is typically welded using gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) or gas metal arc welding (GMAW) with a matching filler material for optimal results.
Nimonic C263 bars and rods are high-performance materials that are mainly used in applications that require excellent strength, oxidation, and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. They are widely used in the aerospace industry for turbine blades, discs, and other engine components due to their extreme thermal conditions. Nimonic C263 is also used in gas turbine engines, combustion chambers, and heat exchangers. The alloy has very good resistance towards creep, fatigue as well as stress-rupture which is preferred for power generation, chemical processing, and petrochemicals where high-temperature strength and endurance are a must.
