The Titanium Grade 12 Bars and Rods are made from commercially pure titanium, enhanced with about 0.35%–0.75% molybdenum, 0.015%–0.1% nickel, and 0.1%–0.2% palladium, which boosts their corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. They showcase excellent tensile strength, good ductility, and superior toughness, all while being easy to weld and form. Grade 12 titanium is particularly resistant to crevice corrosion, stress-corrosion cracking, and pitting, especially in oxidizing and mildly reducing environments.
